A resident and agitator of São Paulo's VOODOOHOP collective, BirdzZie has spent recent years reconnecting with his ancestry through traditional Portuguese instruments, voices and rhythms.

In search of the Soul of Music, he flits from Jazz to House, from Hip Hop to Disco, from R'n'B to Broken Beat, drifting through the world's most varied corners until arriving in Marvão.
